Kōsuke Shirai ( Japanese 白 井 康 介 , Shirai Kōsuke ; * May 1, 1994 in Shizuoka Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Kosuke Shirai signed his first contract with Shonan Bellmare . The club from Hiratsuka, a city in the south of the Japanese prefecture of Kanagawa , played in the country's highest league, the J1 League . In 2013 he was loaned to Fukushima United FC in Fukushima . In late 2013, Shonan was relegated to the second division. In 2014 he became champions of the second division with Shonan and went straight back to the first division. From September 2016 to January 2016 he was loaned to Ehime FC . With the club from Matsuyama he played in the second division, the J2 League . After the loan ended, he was firmly committed by Ehime. By the end of 2017 he had played a total of 91 second division games. In 2018 he moved to the first division club Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo in Sapporo . With Sapporo he was in the final of the J. League Cup in 2019 . In the final, they lost on penalties against Kawasaki Frontale .
