Kota Wakabayashi (born October 23, 1997 ) is a Japanese sprinter who specializes in the 400-meter run .
Athletic career
Kota Wakabayashi gained his first international experience at the 2019 Asian Championships in Doha , where he won the gold medal in the Japanese 4 x 400 meter relay in 3: 02.94 min and also the bronze medal in 3: 20.29 min secured with the mixed relay behind the teams from Bahrain and India. With the men's relay , he also took part in the World Championships there in October and retired there with 3: 02.05 min in advance, as well as with the mixed relay with 3: 18.77 min.
