Kōzō Hosokawa ( Japanese 細 川 浩 三 , Hosokawa Kōzō ; born August 3, 1971 in Kyoto Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Hosokawa learned to play soccer on the school team at Yamashiro High School and the university team at Aoyama Gakuin University . He signed his first contract with Kyoto Purple Sanga in 1994 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the Japan Football League . In 1995 he was runner-up with the club in the Japan Football League and rose to the J1 League . For the club he completed 56 games. At the end of 1996 he ended his career as a football player.
