K-1 Attack is a sports car model that is offered in different versions. The vehicle is manufactured by the small sports car manufacturer K-1 Engineering , which was founded in 1991 by Dick Kwednanski in Bratislava , Slovakia . The only model currently sold is called " Attack ". The car is available as an electric / diesel hybrid , with which the " Tour de Sol " has already been won, or as a thoroughbred sports car Attack JD-R Racing Edition, as well as the Attack Roadster V6-SX Standard.
Technical specifications
The first Attack models use the H22 or F22 engines from Honda , which were produced between 1993 and 1996, for example. B. were installed in the Honda Prelude . A special feature of these engines is the variable valve control VTEC , which enables a lot of power, especially in the upper speed range.
The next engines are based on Ford Mondeo ST versions: initially with the 2.5 liter unit of the ST200 model of the second generation of the Mondeo , which offers 205 hp, and later with the engine of the ST220 from the Mondeo third generation with 226 hp. Both have been revised again and increased in performance for the attack.
The current Attack model is powered by a 242 hp 3-liter V6 engine with which it sprints to 100 km / h in 4.9 seconds. The top speed is electronically regulated 250 km / h.
