K-MOB is a German ska band from Hamburg . The group was founded in 2003 as the successor to the Hamburg spa orchestra .
The nine-member band plays traditional Ska, mixed with soul and reggae elements. K-Mob has played over 100 concerts since it was founded.
In 2005 Cushdy was created , a multi-faceted album with which K-Mob managed to establish itself in the ska scene with its own sound. The album was released by Elmo, a sub-label of Grover Records . On the long player, Dr. Ring thing with two pieces. In the following time they organized reggae parties under their own direction as a K-Mob DJ team and legendary barge concerts on the Elbe.
In 2008 the second longplayer Show de Hipnosis was released , again on Elmo. This time Carsten Friedrichs, singer of the Hamburg band Superpunk , and the first women's team of FC St. Pauli are represented as guests on the record .
