KC Boutiette (born April 11, 1970 in Tacoma ) is an American speed skater .

KC Boutiette was the first US inline skater to switch from this sport to speed skating . Originally, Boutiette only wanted to improve his technique in 1993, but then stayed with speed skating. He has been a US inline skater five times. He made his international debut at the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer . Over 1500 meters he took 39th place here. Until 2006 , Boutiette took part in another three Olympic Games. In 1998 he was eighth over 1000 meters, fifth over 1500 meters and eighth over 10,000 meters, in 2002 fifth on the 5000 meter course and in 2006 sixth in the team competition.

Apart from 2002, he took part in world championships between 1994 and 2005 every year. He could never win medals, but in fourth place he narrowly missed a medal rank four times. Six times he won titles at US championships or US trials , eleven times he was second, once third. The best place in the overall World Cup was a fifth place in the 2003/04 season in the 5000/10000 meters. His best World Cup placement in an individual race was a third place, which he achieved five times. Once he finished second in a team race. His only victory within a World Cup was a small four-way battle that did not count towards the World Cup.
