KNX is a news radio station based in Los Angeles , California . The medium wave station has had a license since 1921.

KNX belongs to the media company Entercom and has had a license as a Clear Channel Station since 1928 . The signal from the transmitter is broadcast by an omnidirectional antenna with a power of 50 kW at 1070 kHz and can be heard at night throughout the western United States and parts of Canada and Mexico.
