KUC (painter)
Kurt Ulrich (* 1941 in Baden near Vienna ; † 2010 ibid.), Better known as KUC , was an Austrian painter .
His preferred techniques were oil on canvas as well as ink drawings with a marten hair brush and ballpoint pen on paper. From the late 1960s to the late 1970s, Kuc's works are purely expressionistic , but increasingly naturalistic in character in the later creative period. In this later period, KUC mainly focused on buildings and landscapes in and around Baden. In May 2010, KUC was awarded the bronze Kaiser Friedrich Medal by the city of Baden for his life's work.
