Kaïkos (mythology)

Kaïkos ( Greek  Κάικος ) is the personification of the Mysian river of the same name in Greek mythology and ancient religion .

Kaïkos was considered the son of Okeanos and Tethys . In the " Mysern " a priest of God is mentioned. At the time of Hadrian , copper coins with the emperor and the river god were minted in Pergamon .
