Boumedienne III cabinet
The Boumedienne III cabinet was formed in Algeria on April 23, 1977 by President and Prime Minister Houari Boumedienne and replaced the second Boumedienne cabinet . Boumedienne remained in office as President and Prime Minister until his death on December 27, 1978. This was followed by a transitional government by the acting President Rabah Bitat , before a new Prime Minister, Mohamed Ben Ahmed Abdelghani , was appointed on March 8, 1979 , and the first Abdelghani cabinet was formed.
