The Kaj Mosque ( Persian مسجد کاج Masjed e Kadsch , IPA : [ mæsd͡ʒɛd ɛ cɑd͡ʒ ]) is a historic mosque in the Iranian province of Isfahan and is located 24 km east of the city of Isfahan on the north bank of the Zayandeh Rud . Only halfway destroyed walls and a dome are left of the mosque. The brick structure dates from the Ilchane era. Even the decorations are mostly made of bricks. A minaret probably belonged to the mosque, but there are no traces of it.
