Kai Soremekun
Kai Soremekun (born in Hamilton , Ontario ) is a Canadian- American filmmaker and actress . She lives in Los Angeles .
Early life
Kai was born in Hamilton , Ontario and grew up in Toronto . Her father was a Nigerian doctor and her mother an English nurse. She has two younger brothers. She spent most of her childhood in Thornhill, a suburb of Toronto.
She attended Thornlea Secondary School , then studied at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City , where she graduated.
Career
Kai Soremekun began his career by appearing in commercials, dancing and appearing in music videos, as well as modeling for Nike in New York City.
She played a minor supporting role as Loretta with Harrison Ford and Bill Nunn in In Matters Henry in 1991 .
In 1993 she moved to Los Angeles , where she got the role of Denise in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air . In 1995 she got a role in Medicine Ball . She studied filmmaking at Los Angeles City College . In the same year she played a supporting role in Michael Mann's action classic Heat.
