The Kairos Edition is a book publisher in Luxembourg .
The Austrian philosopher and religious scholar Volker Zotz and the Italian author Friederike Migneco founded this publishing house with the help of Friedhelm Köhler . In January 2002 it was entered in the Luxembourg commercial register.
The publisher sees its headquarters in the multilingual Grand Duchy of Luxembourg as a mandate to cross borders in terms of language and content. Books are published in German, French and Luxembourgish. The publisher pursues an intercultural program and presents fiction and non-fiction from traditional religious subjects to avant-garde literature.
The spectrum of the publishing program ranges from avant-garde artists such as the composer Victor Fenigstein and the German surrealist Richard Anders , to the Russian-Baltic mystic Valentin Tomberg , the Japanese Buddhist existentialist Takamaro Shigaraki and the Buddhist scholar and writer Lama Anagarika Govinda . The Kairos Edition also includes the Harry Potter novels by Joanne K. Rowling in Luxembourgish .
