Kaiser Maximilian Run

The Kaiser-Maximilian-Lauf is an Austrian ski marathon with start and finish in Seefeld in Tyrol .

history

The competition was launched in 2016 after the König-Ludwig-Lauf was canceled due to weather conditions and replaced it in the Ski Classics program . In addition to the main race over 65 km in the classic technique, an amateur race over 22 km was held. The route of the Kaiser-Maximilian-Lauf partly corresponds to the Olympic routes of 1964 and 1976 .

At the second event in January 2017, a race in classic technique and a freestyle over 60 km will be held.
