location
It is located south of the Quedlinburger Schloßberg at the confluence of the Ritterstrasse and Kaiser-Otto-Strasse and is entered in the Quedlinburg monument register.
Architecture and history
The building complex was erected as a single-storey, elongated brick building. The house got its current design during a 1937 renovation by Herbert Puls . The building is divided into an area for the presentation of vehicles, a workshop and, finally, a roofed gas station on the street corner. The shop windows facing the street, designed as round arches , originally reached down to the floor. Above the entrance there is the historical lettering Motor Vehicles .
The building is still used today (as of 2012) as a sales area for motor vehicles. However, the gas station is no longer in operation as such. In Quedlinburg there is another listed gas station at the address Am Hospital 2 .
