It is located south of the Quedlinburger Schloßberg and is registered in the Quedlinburg monument register as a residential building.
Architecture and history
The tenement house was built in 1905. Planning and construction were carried out by master bricklayer Robert Riefenstahl. The design was carried out using forms of neo-baroque and art nouveau . The plastered surfaces on the ground floor and the gable of the building have special shapes. The front door of the house and lead glazing in the stairwell are remarkable .
A balcony was arranged in the middle of the street-side facade, which is currently (as of 2012) only partially available. Above it is the inscription: MY HOME IN PEACE MAY GUARD GOD .
