The Kaiserbachtal is located in the Kitzbühel district of Tyrol in Austria .

It extends from the Griesenau to the Stripsenjoch in the eastern part of the Kaisergebirge . In the north it is bounded by the Feldberg, which is already part of the Tame Kaiser . In the south, the Kaiserbachtal is framed by the main eastern ridge of the Wilder Kaiser . The valley is traversed by the Kaisertalbach and is the starting point for mountain trips in the Ostkaiser. The Griesner Alm, which is accessible via a toll road, the Stripsenjochhaus and the unmanaged Fritz-Pflaum-Hütte in the Griesner Kar serve as bases .

At the Fischbachalm there is a parking lot, at the Griesner Alm there is a large parking lot with a separate bus parking lot.
