The Kaiserebersdorfer Landwehr artillery barracks at Artillerieplatz 1 was located in Vienna's 11th district Simmering .

The barracks of the kk Landwehr , completed in 1915, were the last major barracks to be built in Vienna during the monarchy . It was built according to plans by the architect Paul Hoppe . After the First World War , the building was used by the armed forces as a barracks and depot. The German Wehrmacht and the Red Army followed as further users . After 1955, this barracks was no longer taken over by the armed forces, but was initially used in 1956 to accommodate refugees from Hungary . In 1974 part of the property was sold.
