Imperial council in the realm of Alsace-Lorraine
The Imperial Council was the highest administrative court in the realm of Alsace-Lorraine . It consisted of ten members of the ministry appointed by imperial decree, presided over by a special president. It ruled on complaints against district council decisions on contentious matters and in a few other cases. The emperor was able to expand his jurisdiction . At least five members, including the chairman, had to take part in the decision.
