Calbayog is a city in the northwest of Samar Province in the Philippines and extends about 60 km along the west coast of Samar Island . According to the August 1, 2015 census, the population is 183,851 people. Calbayog City is the largest city in the province.
Calbayog is the seat of the Diocese of Calbayog . The most important festival is the "Sarikiki-Hadang" festival, which takes place in the first week of September.
