The building, erected around 1896, is part of a historical ensemble in the lower section of Kaiserstrasse, between Albertusstrasse and Bismarckstrasse. Together with Regentenstrasse, Kaiserstrasse was a connecting road between the old town centers of Mönchengladbach and Eickens .
It is an eaves-standing , three-storey, irregular multi-axis residential building with a hipped roof and a gable located in the area of the facade .
