Kaleida is a British-German band project whose members play electro pop . Christina Wood is the singer and Cicely Goulder plays the keyboard and is responsible for the production of the songs.

history

The duo said they were brought together by a mutual friend in 2013. They then produced singles until 2014, which they used for promotion and sent to record companies. After they put their YouTube account online, the song Think received more than 60,000 page views overnight. On December 19, 2014, they signed their contract with Lex Records for their first single, Think . In the same year the song was used in the first John Wick film . Her first album Tear the Roots was released in 2017. This included the cover track of Nena's 99 Luftballons recorded for the agent thriller Atomic Blonde , which was embedded in the 1980s ambience of the entire soundtrack. Various larger tours followed from 2015. They already played in the opening act for Alt-J , Róisín Murphy and MS MR . Further single releases followed until their first studio album Tear the Roots was released on their home label in 2017 .
