Kaliadne
Kaliadne ( ancient Greek Καλιάδνη Kaliádnē , the manuscripts provide Καλιάνδη Kaliándē ) is a Naiad of Greek mythology and one of the wives of Aigyptos , the twin brother of Danaos . With Aegyptus she had twelve sons: Eurylochos , Phantes , Peristhenes , Hermos , Dryas , Potamon , Kisseus , Lixos , Imbros , Bromios , Polyktor and Chthonios .
After the mass wedding of the 50 sons of Aegyptus with the 50 daughters of Danaos , the Danaids , at which lot decided on the pairing and the sons of Hephaistine were married to the twelve daughters of the Naiad Polyxo , the sons of Hephaistine were also married by their wives killed on their wedding night.
