Polyxo (daughter of Neilos)
Polyxo ( Greek Πολυξώ ) is a naiad of the Nile in Greek mythology , probably daughter of the river god Neilos . She became one of the wives of Danaos and bore him twelve daughters who married twelve sons of Aegyptus . Their traditional names are: Autonoe , Theano , Elektra , Cleopatra , Eurydice , Glaukippe , Antheleia , Kleodore , Euippe , Erato , Stygne , Bryke .
Together with the other Danaids, they murdered their husbands on their wedding night .
