Aviation cosmonaut of the Russian Federation
The aviator cosmonaut of the Russian Federation ( Russian Летчик-космонавт Российской Федерации ) is a title that was established by decree 2555-1 of March 20, 1992.
It is the successor to the title of aviation cosmonaut of the Soviet Union and is awarded to Russian cosmonauts after a space flight.

The badge is a silver pentagon with a convex, gold-plated edge. It differs from the earlier Soviet version except for the inscription ("Russia" instead of " USSR ") in the color scheme: the country is no longer colored red, but blue, the track of the spaceship got a stronger red, so that the globe is in the Russian colors white-blue-red appears. The color of the ribbon has also been adapted to the Russian flag. However, the stylized national borders were not changed.
The badge is worn on the right side of the chest.
