Kalleh Mazandaran Volleyball Club is an Iranian men's volleyball club from Amol , which has played in the Iranian volleyball super league since 2008 .

history

The Kalleh Mazandaran Volleyball Club was founded in 1989. Until 2007 they played in the local provincial league before moving up to the second division. In 2009 he was promoted to the super league . In 2011 they won the Iranian Volleyball Cup for the first time. In 2012, the club won its first title in the league and thus achieved qualification for the men's volleyball club Asian championship for the second time after 2012 , which was also won for the first time in 2013 after winning the Al Rayan SC volleyball in the final Team from Qatar defeated. At the men's volleyball club world championship in 2013 , they failed in the preliminary round. In the same year, however, the team won their second championship title in a row. In 2014 the association was dissolved due to financial difficulties, but only re-established a few months later. From 2015 the team played again in the top league.

Venue

The club plays in the Payambar Azam Arena , which has 2,000 seats. In 2014, the construction of a 10,000-seat hall began, which has not yet been completed.
