Saeid Marouf ( Persian سعید معروف, DMG Saʿīd Maʿrūf , actually Mir Saeid Marouflakrani ; * October 20, 1985 in Urmia ) is an Iranian volleyball player .

Marouf won with Iran both the 2013 Asian Championships and the 2014 Asian Games. At the 2013 Asian Championships, he was named Most Valuable Player . Marouf also took part in the 2014 World Cup, where he finished sixth with his team.

Marouf took part in the volleyball world league with the team from Iran in 2013 and 2014 , in 2013 the team finished ninth, and in 2014 Iran lost in the bronze medal against the Italians. Marouf was included in the 2014 World League Dream Team as the best player.

With the teams of Sanam 2005, Kalleh 2012 and Matin 2014 he was Iranian champion and won the Asian championship for clubs in 2008 and 2014. In 2015 he moved to the Russian Zenit Kazan .

At the beginning of 2020, the captain of the Iranian national volleyball team, Saeid Marouf, qualified with his team for the Olympic Games in Tokyo . After a passenger plane was shot down near Tehran and 176 people died, he spoke out against the Iranian regime with critical undertones.
