The Kaltenbach Tunnel is a two-tube motorway tunnel on the Brucker Schnellstraße (S35) south of Bruck an der Mur near Zlatten (municipality of Pernegg an der Mur ) in Styria .

General / description

It is approx. 1100 m long and was opened to traffic together with the Kirchdorf tunnel on May 29, 2010 in the course of closing the gap on the S35-Nord . It is equipped with the latest tunnel technology and offers the driver a high level of comfort and safety. At the south portal is the Pernegg exit (direction Graz), at the north portal there is the driveway towards Bruck. A special feature is the design of the tunnel portals (blue glass roof), which were also built on the Kirchdorf and Mixnitz tunnels .
