Kamaryn ( Belarusian Камарын ; Russian Комарин Komarin ) is an urban-type settlement in the south of Brahin Raion within the Belarusian Homelskaya Woblasz with about 1900 inhabitants.
The village, first mentioned in the 14th century, is located in the extreme south-east of Belarus on the right bank of the Dnieper near the Ukrainian border about 180 km south of Homel . Kamaryn is the administrative center of the district council of the same name, to which another 16 villages belong.
In the southwest of the village of Nizhnia Schary (Belarusian: Ніжнія Жары , Russian: Нижние Жары Nischnije Schary ⊙ ) is located at 51 ° 15'45 "north latitude and 30 ° 32'22" east longitude ⊙ the southernmost point of Belarus.
The P-35 trunk road runs past the village .
