Came Kaltschew
Kamen Kaltschew , actually Petyr Matew Kaltschew , ( Bulgarian Камен Калчев , born August 13, 1914 in Kereka , † January 14, 1988 in Sofia ) was a Bulgarian writer .
He published various novels as well as books for young people and children as well as travelogues. Thematically, he dealt first with the situation in Bulgaria during the Second World War , later with life in socialist- ruled Bulgaria. Kaltschew thematized historical subjects such as the September uprising of 1923 and wrote autobiographical works. He also used the stylistic device from irony to the ironic-grotesque.
Kaltschew was awarded the Dimitrov Prize and as a hero of socialist work .
