Mergentheim camera office

The Kameralamt Mergentheim was an institution of the Kingdom of Württemberg , which administered property and income of the state in the administrative district. It existed in Mergentheim from 1810 to 1922 . The camera office was created as part of the reorganization of the state finance administration in the Kingdom of Württemberg.

history

By state treaty of May 1810, the towns of Ober- and Unterbalbach were assigned to Baden . According to the ordinance of June 6, 1819, the villages of Dörzbach with Albertshof and St. Wendelin and Laibach were assigned to the Schöntal camera office.

By ordinance of March 6, 1843, the Mergentheim camera office ceded the municipality of Hollenbach to the Schöntal camera office. According to the ordinance of March 7, 1846, rams with parcels of Schusterhof, Seehaus and Ziegelhütte and Edelfingen were ceded to Württemberg, while the villages of Korb, Dippach, Hagenbach, Unterkessach and the Hersberg Castle were given to Baden.

By order of February 28, 1872, the Creglingen camera office was dissolved , so that the Mergentheim camera office in future encompassed the entire Mergentheim district.
