Schöntal camera office

The Kameralamt Schöntal was an institution of the Kingdom of Württemberg , which administered property and income of the state in the administrative district. It existed in Schöntal from 1806 to 1922 . The camera office was created as part of the reorganization of the state finance administration in the Kingdom of Württemberg.

According to the ordinance of April 3, 1807, the Schöntal camera office has taken over care of Mergentheim and the town of Sömmeringen. By ordinance of July 14, 1807, the patrimonial offices of Count von Zeppelin's Aschhausen and Berlichingen, Jagsthausen and Rossach, some of which belonged to the Barons of Berlichingen, were assigned to the Schöntal camera office.

In accordance with the ordinance of June 6, 1819, the Schöntal camera office took over part of this district following the dissolution of the Möckmühl camera office.

According to the ordinance of June 6, 1819, the Schöntal camera office ceded the locations of Sindringen with Neuzweiflingen, Ziegelhütte and Buchhof to the Öhringen camera office and took over parts of the Künzelsau camera office district. The villages of Dörzbach with Albertshof and St. Wendelin, Hollenbach with Steigerbach and Laibach were taken over from the Mergentheim camera office. The forest and hunting slopes of the Neusaß and Widdern forest districts were also taken over by the Neuenstadt Forestry Office.

According to the ruling of November 5, 1828, the Schöntal Kameralamt holds the lordly rights over the royal estates acquired by the state of the Prince of Salm-Krautheim in the places Alt-Krautheim with Untergünsbach, Diebach, Eberstal, Eschenhof, Weddingsfelden, Marlach with Altdorf, Obergünsbach and Sindeldorf been transferred.

By order of September 26, 1839, the Schöntal camera office ceded the locations of Bittelbronn, Jagsthausen, Korb, Möckmühl, Olnhausen, Roigheim, Unterkassach with Rossach, Widdern, Reichertshausen parcel and the forest management of the Lampoldshausen district to the Neuenstadt camera office.

According to the ordinance of March 6, 1843, the Schöntal camera office took over the municipality of Hollenbach from the Mergentheim camera office.
