Kamiko is a computer game by the Japanese developer Skipmore. It was released in Japan on April 13, 2017. The European and US release will follow on April 27, 2017.

Gameplay

Kamiko , published purely as a download from the Nintendo e-Shop, is a mixture of arcade, action and RPG game. At the beginning the player has the choice between three different characters, each with their own special abilities. Graphically settled in the 8-bit era of the NES , you have to solve different puzzles in four levels.

reception

The critics largely agree that Kamiko is not very innovative and offers a relatively short playing time. In view of the relatively low price of 4.99 EUR (as of April 23, 2017) in the Nintendo Switch e-shop, the game received good reviews. For example, Daniel Witt from nintendo-online.de writes :

“If you are not annoyed by the pixelated style of many current indie games, you will get a cute little game with“ Kamiko ”. Thanks to three characters who play very differently, interesting gameplay and varied boss fights you will be well entertained. [...] "
