Kanal3 is a Styrian private television broadcaster that went on air in 1995 under the name WKK Lokal TV in western Styria . In 2011 it was renamed under its current name. Kanal3 broadcasts in the upper Murtal , in Voitsberg , Knittelfeld , Leoben and Graz . The activation in Eastern Styria is also planned.

For these areas there are or will be their own regional television stations that broadcast news every hour. These are produced weekly. A video archive of all programs over the past six weeks is available on the broadcaster's website. Radio West is taken over during the broadcast-free time .
