Kanal 7 ( Kazakh Жетінші арна , Russian Седьмой канал ) is a television station in Kazakhstan based in Nur-Sultan (Astana until 2019) , which was founded in 2009. The station began broadcasting on September 9, 2009.
Channel 7's program includes both Kazakh formats and foreign productions, mainly from Russia . Information programs, entertainment formats and educational programs are broadcast. Channel 7 also broadcasts children's series and soap operas as well as films. The news programs are particularly in the foreground.
