The company PT Kurnia Abadi Niaga Citra Indah Lestari from Jakarta started producing automobiles in 2004. The brand name was Kancil . Production initially ended in 2005. Kendaraan Angkutan Niaga Cilik Irit Lincah has continued production since 2009 .
