Kanegem
Kanegem is a Belgian town and as such a section of the municipality of Tielt in the province of West Flanders .
The village is located in the eastern part of the province, close to the border with the province of East Flanders . It has a decidedly rural character and is therefore often referred to as a “ green village ” or a “ flower village ” .
Kanegem was an independent municipality until the Belgian municipalities merged in 1977.
