Kang Ryong-woon (born April 25, 1942 ) is a former North Korean soccer player . With the national team of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea , he took part in the 1966 World Cup in England ; here Kang Bong-chil with the shirt number "10" played the group game against the Soviet Union - against Chile , Italy (each group stage) and Portugal (quarter-finals) Kang Ryong-woon was not used. In 1966 he was under contract with the Radongja sports group . In addition, the 167 centimeter tall midfielder was used in both World Cup qualifiers against Australia in 1965 .

Kang Ryong-woon did not appear in the documentary The Game of Their Lives in October 2002 .
