The Kantorat Lichtentanne is a former school in Lichtentanne in the Zwickau district in Saxony .

history

The cantor's council was built in 1831 as a school below the church of St. Barbara in Lichtentanne. Two teachers taught the local school children in two rooms. In 1888 the place received a new school, which today serves as the town hall.

Until around 1980 the cantor's council was used as a kindergarten, workshop and apartment for the cantor. One room is still used as a pottery workshop today.
