Canoe rental

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A canoe rental is a facility for renting (legally correct usually a rental for a fee) of canoes similar to a yacht charter . Some canoe schools also offer the rental of canoes and equipment for their courses. In addition to commercial rentals, there are also rentals through the German Canoe Association . Similar to a DKV canoe station , there is usually the option of a campsite or bivouac next to a boathouse .

There are different quality and environmental seals for lenders:

  • Federal Canoe Tourism Association (BKT)
  • Viabono
  • Maritime quality management MQM® of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Tourist Association
  • Paddling - nature friendly & safe

In addition to the boats, rental companies also offer life jackets, life jackets and children's life jackets in accordance with EU standards and maps of the water hiking routes and the surrounding area. Some rental companies are also canoe dealers. In addition to rental, guided tours are often offered. Transport of canoes and canoeists to the starting point or the end point of the tours can also be offered.
