Pulpit in the church of St-André in Lille

The pulpit in the church of St-André of Lille , a French town in the Nord department in the Hauts-de-France region , was created by Jean-Baptiste Danezan in 1768. The wooden pulpit was added to the list of listed buildings ( Base Palissy ) in France in 1907 as Monument historique .

The pulpit is decorated with reliefs that symbolize faith and hope.

The sound cover is supposed to represent how the truth beneath the lie is revealed by an angel with a trumpet. For this purpose, a large substance that also continues around the column is removed from the angel.
