The Cape Cornish is a cape , which is the northern end of Buckle Iceland in the group of the East Antarctic Balleny Islands forms.
The crew of the RRS Discovery II named the cape in 1938 after Allan William Cornish (1910-1995), a meteorologist on board the ship from 1937 to 1938.
