The Cape Daniell is the northeastern foothills of Daniell Peninsula at the Borchgrevink Coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . The cape marks the southern limit of the entrance to Tucker Inlet .
It was discovered on January 15, 1841 by the British polar explorer James Clark Ross during his Antarctic expedition (1839–1843). Ross named the cape after the British physical chemist John Frederic Daniell (1790-1845), lecturer at King's College London .
