The Cape Davies is an icy Cape at the northeastern end of Hughes Peninsula in the north of Thurston Island off the coast of the West Antarctic Ellsworthlands .
The cape was first determined using aerial photographs taken by the United States Navy during Operation Highjump (1946–1947). The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it after Frank Thomas Davies (1904–1981), a physicist on the American Byrd Antarctic Expedition (1928–1930).
