The Cape Goldschmidt is a flat ice-covered cape at the Shackleton Coast of the Antarctic Ross Dependency . On the eastern foothills of the Nicholson Peninsula , opposite Senia Point , it marks the southern boundary of the entrance from the Ross Ice Shelf into Couzens Bay .
Participants in a campaign carried out from 1960 to 1961 as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition named it after Donald Riddel Goldschmidt, participant in this campaign and the campaign carried out between 1959 and 1960.
