Cape Hoadley is a coastal ledge in Queen Marie Land, East Antarctica . The cape lies at the eastern end of the Obruchev Hills and forms the western boundary of the entrance to the valley occupied by the Scott Glacier . It also separates the Scott and Denman glaciers shortly before both confluence with the Shackleton Ice Shelf .
The team from the Western Base of the Australasian Antarctic Expedition (1911–1914) discovered the Cape. Its leader, the Australian polar explorer Douglas Mawson , named it after the geologist Charles Hoadley (1887-1947), a member of the expedition.
