The Cape Parr is a large, snowy Cape at the Shackleton Coast in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It is approximately eight miles south of Gentile Point on the western edge of the Ross Ice Shelf .
Participants in the Discovery Expedition (1901-1904), led by the British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott, discovered it. Scott named it after Admiral Alfred Arthur Chase Parr (1849-1914), one of Scott's advisors to the expedition and participant in research trips to the Arctic.
