Cape Robertson is a cape on the northwest coast of Laurie Island in the archipelago of the South Orkney Islands . It is one mile east of Route Point at the northern end of the Mackenzie Peninsula and marks the entrance to Jessie Bay to the west .
On maps of the Scottish National Antarctic Expedition (1902-1904) the name of the cape is erroneously recorded at the location of the Route Point. Expedition leader William Speirs Bruce named it after Thomas Robertson (1855-1918), captain of the Scotia on this expedition.
