Cape Sørlle is a cliff-like cape at the southern end of Fredriksen Island in the archipelago of the South Orkney Islands .
It was discovered and roughly mapped by Captains George Powell (1794–1824) and Nathaniel Palmer in December 1821. Scientists from the British Discovery Investigations carried out a new mapping in 1933 and named the cape after the Norwegian whaling captain Petter Sørlle (1884–1933), who carried out extensive surveys of the South Orkney Islands between 1912 and 1913.
