The chapel Günhoven is in the district Günhoven in Mönchengladbach ( Nordrhein-Westfalen ), Günhovener route 36.

The structure was built in 1844. It was entered under No. G 020 on June 2, 1987 in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach .

The chapel “Zum hl. Nikolaus ”belongs to the closed historical local association of Günhovens.

The spacious brick church dates from 1844. It closes on three sides and was originally free-standing. The entrance side has a beautiful bluestone portal with steps and arches , in the lintel of which the year is carved. The tiled roof bears a slated roof turret .

The chapel, restored in 1964/65, is in good condition. Worth protecting because of its age and as an honorary chapel for cultural, historical and ethnological reasons.
